	---------National Yunlin University of Science and Technology was established in July
	1 st ,1991. Moreover, the Department of Electronic and Computer Science
	Information Engineering was established in 1994 in viewof the nation and industries'
	demands of high tech professional workers.The group of Information Engineering
	was independent from the Department of Electronic and Computer Science
	Information Engineering , and renamed as the Institute of Computer Science
	and Information Engineering (the original Department of Electronic and
	Computer Science Information Engineering then renamed as the Department of
	Electronic Engineering ), and enrolled graduate students for the first year.
	--Characteristics--
	----------To match up the development of bioscience in Central Taiwan Science Park ,
	the research direction of the Department of Computer Science and Information
	Engineering will focus on bioscience, multimedia information, and computer network.
	Students will have clear pictures of the latest professional knowledge and critical
	thinking ability, andwhich will enable them to engage in the research and design
	related to information.
