教學特色


配合國家發展與因應資訊相關科技發展趨勢,在理論與實務的並重之下,教學注重實用性,且著重多媒體系統、嵌入式系統、及電腦網路系統等整合技術,使學生具備電腦與通訊系統設計、電腦與通訊應用、雲端科技、APP程式設計等專業知識與技能,以培養優秀之資訊工程專業人才。

Teaching Features


Our courses cover a wide variety of subjects. Current concentrations include following three areas:

1. Multimedia System

2. Embedded System

3. Computer Network System

To equip students with professional knowledge and skills in computer and communication system design, computer and communication applications, cloud technology, APP programming, etc., so as to cultivate outstanding information engineering professionals.

發展方向


本系以「智慧生活」為發展主軸,藉由影像辨識、生理訊號分析、機器學習、大數據分析、物聯網、雲端運算、行動網路、資訊安全與嵌入式系統設計提供「資訊智慧服務」,從事智慧化工廠生產,智慧化農產栽種管理、主動災害警示與疏散、無人飛行載具應用、智慧生活/健康照護等應用服務

Direction of Development


With the developments of biotechnologies and computer-related technologies from the Central Taiwan Science Park, our department aims at moving toward the goal of investigating bioinformatics and their related multimedia information processing and computer network technologies in the future.

Moreover, we also aim at giving students the opportunity to obtain a broad background in the fundamentals of computer science and related fields and develop the student's potential of independent thinking for conducting researches and professional capabilities in their future careers.

產學合作


本系鼓勵教師參與產學合作,經由本系專業人才,協助公司產品的研發及提升產品設計能量,達到產學合作,互利雙贏的局面,同時積極推動學生參與產業實務實習,強化學生實務訓練。

Industry-University Collaboration


We encourage faculty and staff to participate in industry-university cooperation.

Through the professional talents of the department, they can assist in the development of the company's products so as to achieve a win-win situation.

At the same time, we encourage students to participate in industry internships to strengthen their practical experience.

國際學術交流


近年來致力於推動國際學術交流活動,藉由各項國際學術交流和研究合作,強化教育品質,提昇國際競爭力;同時積極建立與拓展國外學術交流管道、接待國外學者或學術機構人員來訪、辦理國際學生交換及交流事宜、招收外籍生、及各式學術活動、交流訊息之公告,以提昇本系國際競爭力與知名度。

International Academic Exchange


In recent years, we have been committed to promoting international academic exchange.

Through various international academic exchanges and research cooperation, we have strengthened the quality of education and enhanced international competitiveness.

At the same time, we have established and expanded foreign academic exchange channels and received visits from foreign scholars or academic institutions , handled international student exchange and exchange matters, recruited foreign students, and announced various academic activities and exchanged information to enhance the competitiveness and popularity of the department.

整合教師專長,且設置「創意教學與智慧生活空間」,培育智慧環境與優質生活領域皆具備之創新能力之跨領域人才,並整合數位、網路、影像、資料庫、與嵌入式系統等核心技能,開發「智慧生活」相關技術,使學生所學具有實際應用的環境與展示空間,激發同學的學習意願與創意,培養學生具有實務能力之資訊工程專業人才,達到學生學以致用,促進工業升級與符合社會需求之目標。
