本系為培育學生成為理論與實務兼具之專業人才暨提昇教師之企業服務與技術改善之能力，落實產學合作之技職教育方針，因而開設產業實務實習課程。

• 校外實習課程類型如下：
  1. 暑期課程：於暑期開設二學分以上之校外實習課程，應在同一機構連續實習八週，並以三百二十小時為原則。
  2. 學期課程：開設九學分以上，至少為期十八週之校外實習課程，修讀實習課程期間，除參加各校定期返校之座談會或研習活動等外，學生應全時於實習機構實習。
  3. 學年課程：開設十八學分以上，至少為期三十六週之校外實習課程，修讀實習課程期間，除參加各校定期返校之座談會或研習活動等外，學生應全時於實習機構實習。
